Total 34 bacteria have been identified by 16s rRNA sequencing. Among them, 14 Pseudomonas sp., 10 Bacillus sp., 4 Burkholderia sp., 1 Pseudochrobactrum sp., 1 Staphylococcus sp. and 1 Sternotrophomonas sp. are identified. There are 20 bacteria which have phosphate solubilizing competency. Beside this 9 bacteria can fix nitrogen. Among 34 bacteria, 13 bacteria are Gram positive and other 11 bacteria are gram negative. Most of the bacteria (25 bacteria) showed antagonistic effect in dual culture plate against Phytophthora capsici. Excepting one bacterium, all 33 bacteria promoted plant growth. The 24 bacteria have the capacity to halt zoospore motility. Moreover, 10 bacteria are able to suppress sporangia formation of P. capsici.
