Professor Tofazzal Islam is a leading academician in Bangladesh. He has been teaching various courses in agricultural biotechnology, cell, and molecular biology, molecular plant-microbe interaction, nanobiotechnology, bioinformatics, genomics, and so on at both undergraduate and graduate levels (MS and Ph D) at BOU, BSMRAU and EWU. He supervised a large number of BS, MS, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral fellows. He wrote many books in his field of expertise and developed curricula of BS, MS and Ph D level courses at IBGE of BSMRAU.
